Amit Bhaduri's Response to the World Bank

On the final day of the Tribunal, many of the Jury members chose to give a statement regarding their impressions of the proceedings. Professor Amit Bhadhuri, a highly noted economist, chose to respond to what the World Bank had posted earlier in the day on their Web site. Having decided at the last moment not to attend, the World Bank had taken the time to write a very long document which denied the allegations made at the Tribunal. The secretariat had agreed to give them written copies of the presentations each day during the Tribunal, and World Bank personnel may also have chosen to sit in on the proceedings unofficially.

 
Unfortunately, the FAQ that the Bank posted to their site, and of which Professor Bhaduri is speaking, was taken down a year later. Professor Bhadhuri's analysis of that statement is captured on the video below.
