  • Open source programming (we need a search engine!)
  • Video editing
  • HTML coding
  • Hindi/English Translation for the Web site
  • Translation of the forthcoming volume

Getting the Word Out!

You can help get out information on all the issues discussed at the Tribunal by distributing the materials posted on this site. We are in the process of posting the testimonies for everyone's use. You can start a blog, or contribute to the blog at worldbankout.blogspot.com. Just send us material and let us know that you would like to be added as an author. Invite friends to the listserv, post a link to this site, take the materials to a local library, school, government official, or community organization.

Organize a Tribunal in your State

Many people involved in the Tribunal process have suggested state-wide People's Tribunals on the World Bank and the ADB. If you are looking for contacts in your state or want information about holding a Tribunal, please contact us.

Financial support

Your support is necessary in getting this material published. Now that the Independent People's Tribunal has concluded, it is critical to collect all the information presented at the event and produce and distribute these findings. The audiences this information expects to support and impact are activists, research organizations, advocacy groups, academics, government officials, and policy makers both locally and internationally. The goals of disseminating this information are to influence policy, provide campaign and training material and inspire further action.

The documentation being planned is an edited, abridged, and printed report of the proceedings as well as full written and video documentation on the Web site. A shorter campaign booklet is also being prepared. The full printed report will be available in two editions, one in Hindi, and one in English. The smaller booklet will be published in as many languages as possible, initially in English, Hindi, and Tamil.
