Financial support
Originally planned as a relatively small event, the Tribunal is now much larger than antici-pated due to overwhelming response from organizations around the country and interna-tionally. For this reason, additional funding is required. Your support can help in two specific ways:- The number of people expressing interest in attending the tribunal has grown well be-yond expectations. Funds are needed to bring community members from around India to testify.
- International interest has been outstanding. The need for solid documentation (both a written report and a film) has only become that much more important as further tribunals are being considered regionally and internationally. The documentation is now being seen as a way of facilitating a replication of the process elsewhere as well as an educational and mobilization tool within India.
