Should be representative of a region, a policy, a sector or of a group - with particular regard to the Terms of Reference above. Non-governmental organizations and groups working among the project-affected persons will prepare their case against the World Bank in the form of a petition.

- A report on the financial, economic and technical viability/ non-viability of the project
- A report on the human rights, economic, environmental, social and cultural effects of the project
- Changes in laws, policies and regulations attributed to the project
- A legal docket which will contain: The contract – loan and credit agreements; A statement by the project affected persons; Violations of laws; Any precedents or similar project, cases where the WBG has knowingly funded or aided a mega project which has lead to human rights violations and ecological destruction; Any links, evidence of conditionalities imposed in terms of suppliers,project consultants, and links with certain bureaucrats/ technocrats. (Note : some of this information may not be easily accessible and groups may need to use tools like the Right to Information Act and other such methods to access this information. The Tribunal Secretariat as well as the Advisors may also in certain cases be able to assist in collection of this information). All documented evidence to be sent to the Tribunal’s secretariat at least ONE month prior to the Tribunal Hearing. Prior to the Tribunal Hearing some members of the jury will conduct site visits to certain critical regions and areas. Selection of the Depositions to be profi led will be done by one or two convenors who will be in charge of a region, sector, policy or theme. The reason for selecting sectors is two fold: These are the major sectors in which World Bank has given loans in the last 50 years and thus the Tribunal can draw from these experiences to ascertain the impact of World Bank lending. Secondly, some of these are the sectors in which World Bank proposes to focus on in the next 4 years.
